Sahih Al Bukhari: The Early Years Of Islam by Muhammad Asad..This work comprises the historical chapters of the most important compilations of Traditions, Sahih of Imam al-Bukhari and depicts the beginning of the Prophet's revelation, the merits of his Companions and the early years of Islam up to and including the decisive turning point of Islamic history, the Battle of Badr. The author had set out to translate the whole of Sahih al-Bukhari but much of his manuscripts were destroyed in the chaos that followed the Second World War.
